About Prepaid Travel Card MasterCard®

The Prepaid Travel Card MasterCard can be used to buy goods and services at millions of merchants that accept MasterCard or Maestro® debit cards and to withdraw local currency from more than one million ATMs worldwide.

The Travel Card is prepaid, so you know exactly how much you are spending when you are away from home. If you have money left on the card at the end of your travels, you can choose from a number of options:

• Load more funds onto the card for your next trip.
• Go to an ATM at home and withdraw remaining funds.
• Go to a Maestro® merchant to get cash back with your purchase.
• Spend the remaining funds at locations that accept MasterCard debit cards.
• Cash out the funds remaining on your card by returning to the location where you purchased your card (there may be an additional charge for reloading or cashing out your card).

As well as the usual security features you’d expect from a MasterCard such as PIN and signature protection, you also have the option to buy additional cards* that are linked to the same funds as your first card. The additional card can be given to a traveling companion** or can be kept safe in case the first card is lost or stolen.

The Prepaid Travel Card MasterCard comes with Emergency Assistance**. With one phone call at any time of the night or day, you can get practical help and assistance with situations such as lost passports or wallets, medical emergencies, legal problems and even translation assistance.
