How to register for, access and stop SMS services
Travelex Retail, Thomas Cook and The Co-operative Travel MasterCard® Cash Passports
If you purchased your MasterCard® Cash Passport from a participating UK branch of Travelex Retail (including www.cashpassport.com/buy), Thomas Cook or The Co-operative Travel, then low balance alerts are automatically configured on your Card and sent to your mobile, as long as your mobile phone number is correctly displayed in ‘My Account’.
This means that every time your Cash Passport balance falls below £100 (or the currency equivalent; €150, US$200. AU$200, CA$200, NZ$250 and ZAR2,000), you will automatically receive a text to your mobile phone to let you know.
Should you decide that you no longer wish to receive low balance alerts for your Cash Passport, all you need to do is send the word ‘Stop’ to 65300. Please note that you will not be able to start this service again, once it has been stopped.
Asda and Sainsbury’s MasterCard® Cash Passports
If you purchased your MasterCard® Cash Passport from a participating UK branch of Asda or Sainsbury’s, you can register and validate your mobile phone number (on the ‘My Account’ section on this website), and choose some or all available SMS Services.
