"...(re the Co-Operative Cash Passport/Western Union misery in Magaluf), could our heartfelt thanks please be passed on to Racquel on the UK Helpline... She did an absolutely tremendous job in making sure our daughter had her funds and gave us peace of mind in the process.
Thank you Racquel!!!!" Janet M, Leeds
"When I arrived at my final destination I realised on my first day I had lost my card in transition. Immediately I looked through the contact numbers for help. Having found the correct number I proceeded to tell the customer advisor my problem [...] I was told I could have the new card as soon as possible. It was EASTER Bank Holiday weekend so [...] I was pleasantly surprised to be told it would arrive on the MONDAY [...]
After the card arrived i phoned the customer service advisor who activated the card for me for immediate use and then I was able to access my funds again [...]
The service to me seemed very fast and efficient leaving me a happy customer I would recommend this service to other people and hope to continue my Prepaid Currency Transactions with them as hassle free as I found this one." Mark R, UK
"Used the cash passport in New York with no problems whatsoever. My husband was old school cash and nervous about having to rely on the card- what if it was lost or stolen, or used fraudently, but it was great. Every shop and restaurant accepted it[...] I'll certainly use it again, and recommend it to friends." Kate H, UK
"It was actually my husband who first brought the Cash Passport™ to my attention. Once he'd found out how much cheaper the Cash Passport is than using either a debit or credit card, in addition to the extra security features the card provides, we decided to get the card there and then" Sarah W, London
"It was mostly the safety aspect that first sold the Cash Passport to me. If you loose the card, you're safe in the knowledge that your money is still secure and protected. With the Cash Passport, it's accepted everywhere, so it's really flexible and secure - which you just can't get with any other form of travel money" Sue N, London
"I have been using The Co-operative Travel Cash Passport for about three years on the suggestion of the agent who deals with foreign exchange. I don't like carrying large sums of money around or carrying my passport as ID to cash travellers cheques." Patricia C, Bradford
“I was surprised to find when I compared the Advantage Cash Passport to other prepaid cards such as American Express and The Post Office, that the Cash Passport was by far the best. Especially as it offered a free replacement card, free emergency assistance, was issued instantly and had fewer charges associated with the card.” Matt T, East Kilbride
“For a long Stag weekend my girlfriend thought a Cash Passport would be sensible. I had no problems using the card during my stay, it was very easy to top up and I was happier carrying the card rather than carrying cash or even my own bank card.” Dave W, Glasgow
"I was introduced to Cash Passport by a friend who is a frequent traveller to Europe and North Africa. As I am undoubtedly the cynical type, I gave him my views on the exchange rate, the inflexibility, the risks, and so on and so on. When he simply told me to shut up and try, for once, I did just that. From cynic to fan in on easy and effortless trip." John M, Scotland
"I have a holiday home in Cape Town, and last year I purchased £1000 on a South African Rand Cash Passport. You don't have to worry if the exchange rate changes because you purchase the card when you see the best rate and everywhere takes the card; supermarkets, purchasing electric for the house, having a snack or a meal out. I had no problem anywhere. We have a bank account in Cape Town but this is the best way to take money as you are not allowed to take any more than £500 in cash. The banks at this side charge me for transferring money into my account in Cape Town and they also charge for receiving money. Being able to keep reloading the card means you can save up for your holiday money as you can afford it. Brilliant card far better than travellers cheques, would recommend it to any one." Jean H, Lancashire
"This card was absolutely fantastic for my holiday in South Africa. I normally buy cash online from Travelex but as you are restricted to taking 5000 Rand cash in and out of South Africa, I had to find an alternative method. I loathe using my debit or credit card because of the high levels of card fraud so opted for a prepaid card and got an excellent exchange rate. I had no problems at all and used it to withdraw cash from ATMs, as well as pay for goods and services at merchants. The convenience of checking your transactions online was great so I could keep track of my spending. Also, because it was in the local currency it was really easy to manage my funds whilst over there. I have recommended the card to friends and family as I think it is an outstanding product."
