How to Replace or Cashout your Cash Passport Card
Replace or Cashout
Card expiry
Thomas Cook Cash Passports expire four years after they are produced.
The expiry date of your card is printed on the front. On expiry of your Cash Passport, just take your valid photo ID to any Thomas Cook or Going Places store that sells Thomas Cook Cash Passport and load a new currency card. Please see the Cashout and Close section below for other options on transferring your available balance.
Lost or Stolen Cards
If your card is lost or stolen, contact Card Services immediately so we can cancel it, however, your balance is PIN and signature protected and if you have a second card you can still access those funds. If you only have one card or both your cards are lost or stolen we will send you free replacement cards.
Cashout and Close
If you would prefer not to keep your card for another trip, you can withdraw your remaining balance (assuming it is within the ATMs issuing limits) from an ATM displaying the Visa® or MasterCard® Acceptance Marks (depending which type of Cash Passport you have). Alternatively, you can take your card back to a Thomas Cook or Going Places store and they will refund the balance. The store may charge a commission for this service. (Please refer to your respective Terms and Conditions for more information).
