Without the generous support of individuals, companies and trusts, there's no way the National Theatre could continue to produce such diverse theatre, support new writing or reach out to young people across the UK through our education department (discover:).
The National Theatre's current level of activity costs almost £54 million each year. Our earned income makes up 54% of this, and our Arts Council grant 35%. The remaining 11% (around £6 million in 2008/09) comes from private sources. This private funding from generous individuals, businesses as well as trusts and foundations ensures we are able to continue to deliver our repetoire, run our exciting education programme (discover:) and maintain low ticket prices for the general public.
Choose the NT Cash Passport prepaid MasterCard® currency card as your travel money and Travelex will make a donation to the National Theatre every time you spend.
