How to Replace or Cashout your Cash Passport Card

CARD EXPIRY

If your Cash Passport Card has expired or is close to expiring, you can call the Card Services team on 1800 889 040 (for Visa cardholders calling within Australia) and 1800 098 231 (for MasterCard cardholders calling within Australia) or + 1 954 838 8294 (for Visa cardholders calling from abroad) and + 44 207 649 9404 (for MasterCard cardholders calling from abroad) or email them at access_apac_customer_services@mastercard.com and they can help with transferring your funds to a new Card.

CASHING OUT AND CLOSING YOUR CARD

If you’re not planning to travel soon, you can ask for your funds to be cashed out and refunded to you.

Simply go to www.cashpassport.onlinetravelmoney.com.au/cash-out  and complete the details.  A cash out fee applies.

LOST OR STOLEN CARDS

If your Cash Passport is lost or stolen, contact Card Services immediately, so they can cancel it and organise a free replacement. Rest assured that your balance is PIN protected and if you have a second Card, you can still access your funds with the Additional Card.

TRANSFERRING YOUR BALANCE FROM A SINGLE CURRENCY CASH PASSPORT TO A NEW MULTI-CURRENCY CASH PASSPORT

Existing Single Currency Cash Passport MasterCard or Visa cardholders can transfer the funds on their existing cards to a new Multi-currency Cash Passport MasterCard if purchased from Multi-currency Cash Passport partners in Australia.(Excludes Multi-currency cards purchased from Travelex).

 To do so:
  • Cardholder must purchase a new Multi-currency Cash Passport with a minimum balance of AUD100 – it is important that the cards are activated when sold; and
  • Cardholder needs to email cpp@accessprepaidww.com.au with the old card number and the new card numbers in full, as well as the relevant cardholder’s full name. They will also need to put BALANCE TRANSFER as the subject heading.
The balance transfer will take five (5) business days to process.
