Important information for Australia Post Visa Debit Cash Passport Card customers only.

To activate your Visa Debit Cash Passport Card, which was purchased from Australia Post, please follow the instructions below.
There are two options for activating your Visa Debit Cash Passport Card(s). You must complete this process for each Card.
Option A – Automated phone service
1. Please call 1800 889 040. (Number only works within Australia.)
2. Press 1 for English.
3. When prompted, enter your 16 digit primary Card number (to idenitify which Card is your primary Card, ignore the last digit on each one and pick out the Card with the lowest number: that's your primary Card).
4. When prompted, enter the 2 digits of the day and month of your birth. eg DD / MM.
5. Your Card will be activated and your PIN will be read back to you for the primary Card, which will be the same as the PIN provided with the Card.
6. This process will need to be completed for each Card.
Option B – Online via 'My Account'
1. Click here to Sign up and Activate
2. Enter the first 6 digits of your primary Card number and click “Continue“.
3. Select 'Sign Up'.
4. Enter your desired user name, choose a password, confirm the password, enter your email, confirm your email, choose a security question, enter a security answer, and click “Continue“.
5. You have successfully signed up - (Now you need to activate your Card).
6. Click on 'My Account' to view your Cash Passport information.
7. Click “Activate card number“.
8. Upon selection of “Submit“, your Card will be activated and ready to use.
9. This process will need to be completed for each Card.
