Privacy Policy

This website ("Website") is operated by Access Prepaid Worldwide Ltd on behalf of itself and its holding companies, subsidiaries and affiliates (together, "we" or "us" or "our"). We recognise the importance of safeguarding the email addresses and your  personal information we collect from you or from third parties ("Personal Information"). The following privacy principles reflect our commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of Personal Information and to providing users of this Website with the best possible service.

By using the Website you consent to us using your personal information for the purposes described below.

WHEN IS PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED?

The Website collects Personal Information in various places, including when you buy Cash Passport or other services from us or when you register to receive email alerts, services or other information offered through this Website.  We also collect Personal Information when you voluntarily complete customer surveys, provide feedback and participate in competitions.

USE AND RETENTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

We use Personal Information only for the purpose for which we tell you that it has been collected, to provide our services and for other legitimate purposes as permitted by data protection law, and retain it only as long as necessary for those uses. If you provide information when buying Cash Passport or other goods or services from us, we may use the Personal Information for the purposes of: keeping you informed by email of similar products or services to those which you have bought, unless you have indicated that you would not like us to do so; providing you with email alerts which you have registered for; and to comply with our legal obligations.

We use credit reference agencies and fraud prevention agencies to (i) make enquiries when you ask for any Cash Passport or any of our services, or to assist us in managing your Cash Passport; (ii) share information about you and how you manage your Cash Passport; (iii) if you give us false or inaccurate information or we suspect fraud.

Credit reference agencies keep a record of our enquiries (whether or not you proceed with your application for a Cash Passport or any of our services) and may record, use and give out information we give them to lenders, insurers and other organisations. This also applies to fraud prevention agencies if you give us false or inaccurate information or we suspect fraud. The information may be used by these agencies to make assessments and to help make decisions on you and members of your household, on credit, insurance products and facilities (including handling claims), for debt tracing and to prevent fraud and money laundering.

We may monitor or record phone calls with you in case we need to check we have carried out your instructions correctly, to resolve queries or issues, for regulatory purposes, to help improve our quality of service, and to help detect or prevent fraud or other crimes.  Conversations may also be monitored for staff training purposes.

We may give information about you and your use of our services to (i) people who provide a service to us or are acting as our agents, on the understanding that they will keep the information confidential; (ii) anyone to whom we transfer or may transfer our rights and duties as a result of a sale or transfer or all or part of our business or assets; (iii) if we have a duty to do so or if the law allows us to do so. Otherwise we will keep information about you confidential.

MAINTENANCE OF ACCURATE INFORMATION

We strive to make sure that the information we maintain about our customers is accurate, current and complete and we respond to requests to correct inaccurate information in a timely manner.

You are responsible for informing us that your personal details have changed: for example, a change of address or to your title. You can do this by contacting us at the address and phone number provided below.

PROTECTION OF INFORMATION VIA ESTABLISHED SECURITY PROCEDURES

We maintain security standards and procedures regarding unauthorised access to customer information.

PROVISION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THIRD PARTIES

Unless you have given us your consent, we will not provide information about you to companies outside our group to use for their own marketing purposes.
We may need to operate some of our services from outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”) or transfer Personal Information to a service provider or agent outside of the EEA.  However, if we do, we will make sure that the service provider or agent agrees to apply the same level of protection as we are required to apply in the EEA.
