Important information

This is to advise you that we will be dis-continuing the Cash Passport™ VISA Card.

What does this mean for you?

- From 18th March 2016, you will no longer be able to reload your Card.

- You can continue to spend available funds on the Card at participating merchants (subject to Card functionality), or withdraw any remaining funds from an ATM displaying the VISA logo until 31st March 2016*.

Please note, if you have purchased your Card in South Africa, you may not use your Card at ATMs or at participating merchants within the Common Monetary Area.

- After 31st March 2016 you will no longer be able to withdraw funds from an ATM or use your Card at participating merchants (point of sale – subject to Card functionality) - so you should aim to have spent or withdrawn all funds on your Card before this date.

Remember you may be able to use your remaining funds at participating merchants for partial payments if your Card balance is not sufficient for the whole transaction.

- You can obtain your account balance by accessing ‘My Account”.

What do you need to do?

- You should withdraw any remaining funds on your Card prior to 31st March 2016 at VISA ATMs until the balance reaches zero.

- You may also return to the selling location from whom you purchased the card to obtain a credit of the balance remaining on your Card at any time before 31st March 2016. No cash out fee will be charged for this service.

- After 31st March, 2016, you can redeem your funds by emailing Card Services at accountclosures_prepaid@mastercard.com and requesting a call back.

On receipt of your email, which should include your name, address and contact telephone number along with the first six and last four digits of your Card, we will call you within 30 days to arrange the cash out.
